Langtang Valley Trekking

Langtang valley trekking offers some of their most spectacular and beautiful scenery in the world. The Langtang valley trekking is one of the most popular and great trekking Routes in Langtang Himalayas and it is situated in the north of Katmand and at the south of the Tibetan border. As well Langtang Lirung (7246m) lies to the north; Gang Chhenpo (6388m) and Naya Kanga ri (5846m) lie to the south and Dorje Lakpa (6966m) at the East of the Valley. Langtang valley treks also called “the valley of glaciers trek”. Mountain View is excellent and surrounding spectacular views of mountains. On either side of valley, mountains rise, soaring in to the sky. The valley offers pain forest, slow moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks. We also have chance to see some wild animals and birds inside the Langtang National Park. Among them are the monkeys, musk deer, Pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Danphe. In the upper part of valley there are snow bridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist, tiny lake with icebergs floating on them and water of crystalline brightness. There are also high mountains of solid ice. Langtang valley trek is on the area of Tibetan culture and home of Yak. The trek starts from Dhunche or Syabru Bensi and ends at Dhunche or Syabru bensi again. From Sybru Bensi, you will follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyanjin Gompa (3700m.). When you arrive in Kyanjin Gompa we recommend you to stay one extra day for the climb Tserkuri (5184m.) from where you see nice view of the Himalayas.
